The AI chatbot Meta AI will soon be available to Indian users on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. This chatbot will face competition from the likes of Microsoft’s Copilot, Google’s Gemini, and OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Meta AI was already accessible in a number of nations, including Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Meta AI is presently only available in English and is based on Llama 3.
You can ask the chatbot any question, such as how to organize a weekend trip with friends, how to be ready for an interview, or how to finish an assignment. Furthermore, by writing the question itself and then utilizing the syntax “imagine,” it is even capable of producing visuals. The final photos will have a watermark reading “With AI Imagined” in the lower corner. This image can be saved, or it can be shared in other chat rooms or websites. “You can ask Meta AI to animate it or iterate on the image with friends by asking Meta AI to change the prompt,” reads the official blog post.
You should be aware that it won’t produce pictures of well-known people like Taylor Swift, Elon Musk, or Narendra Modi.
If you like a photo on Facebook, you can ask Meta AI to provide further details. For instance, you can ask Meta AI when is the ideal time of year to observe the aurora borealis if you see a picture of the northern lights in Iceland. According to the business, Meta AI on Instagram can recommend Reels to you based on your search query.
Tech Today has access to Meta AI during its beta testing. In the upper right corner of the app, there will be a blue hollow circle indicating that Meta AI is available on your smartphone. To begin a conversation, just tap on it. Additionally, you can use WhatsApp’s search bar to look up “Meta AI.”
Notably, you can call the chatbot to life on WhatsApp by writing “@MetaAI,” just like you would for other group members, and then providing your prompt.
